Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid

The Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid is located near the Central station of Atocha. The interior of the building gives a sober impression which draws the attention to the paintings. This is the first museum we visit that focuses on young works of art. The paintings are from the 20th century. Here you find works of the two greatest Spanish masters Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. My main interest went out to the works of Salvador Dali. I was disappointed because the most famous works I knew, where not displayed. In the paintings of Pablo Picasso, I was expected more light, most works were at the dark side. All by all, it was a nice visit.
